Water Therapy and ATP Energy
Water Therapy and ATP Energy
Water is the “elixir” of life… We support the paradigm which is justified and advocated in the books by the world-renowned American physician dr. Fereydoon Batmanghelidj: “Our health depends on the quality and quantity of water we drink.” “Do not cure thirst with medicines”.
Water is the basis of all life; this also applies to our body. Our muscles that move the body are made of water up to 75%; our blood that carries nutrients consists of 82 % of water; our lungs that provide oxygen are 90 % water; our brain, the control center of the body, is 76 % of water; even the bones are 25% water.
“Live” water is indispensable for health. Water is the fundamental substance and the main driving force of all the processes in the human body. The simple fact is that water scarcity (dehydration) can cause illness. In order to prevent dehydration-related diseases, we need to provide enough water to the body, as water shortages in the body eventually turn into serious and severe chronic and degenerative diseases.
Below we provide information on the importance of water for health – the importance of drinking water. We want to draw attention to the harmful effects of chronic dehydration. Our holistic starting point for water is as follows: Many diseases, of the so called “unknown origin” are caused by chronic lack of water. This position is based on the paradigm that was developed and, founded by an American doctor of Iranian roots, a world renown, Fereydoon Batmanghelidj with many years of clinical practice.
Our intention is to “inform” our clients, what happens if we do not drink regularly and enough water. Chronic cell dehydration kills painfully and prematurely. Its first signs of official medicine are called “diseases of unknown origin”.
Before continuing with information, in order to avoid legal complications, we have to inform you that “our” information is not a substitute for official medical advice, which clients should get from their medical doctors. After this alert and referral to the official medicine and alignment with existing valid legislation we can continue …
The design of the human body is more complete than we can imagine. The fact is that our body is mostly (70%) made up of water. If it does not drink regularly and enough, this leads to chronic dehydration and then to many chronic and degenerative diseases.
As dr. Batmanghelidj writes in his books: “In the body, a lot of sophisticated and complex mechanisms signal the lack of water. Here, we do not just mean the most basic signal of dry mouth, but a whole lot of other important indicators that should be taken into account by official medicine. The biggest tragedy in modern medicine is that “experts” do not understand the different body calls on the water (there is no interest in pharmaceutical lobbies?). Therefore, chronic physical dehydration is traditionally treated with chemical agents. Medicines only mitigate the problems, but they are not intended to cure degenerative diseases. An incredible mistake, but an obvious fact. This fundamental lack of knowledge of bodily signs of dehydration is essentially the main reason for expensive health”.
One of the main problems of the human body is the normal regulation of water balance; it is caused by a gradual loss of sensation of thirst. Because water is extremely important for the human body, its shortage must undoubtedly cause some consequences. Chemical treatment of signals for the body’s regulation of water in case of dehydration in patients is not in favor. For this reason, we will focus on complex mechanisms of water absorption and distribution in the body.
If the body does not have enough water, it is in stress that triggers a “crisis” physiological balance of the water balance. This includes, in particular, strict saving of body water supplies because the organism “assumes” that the supply of water will be limited in the next few days. The complicated system assumes the management of the body’s water supplies that are available. This complicated situation for saving and distribution takes place until the supply is again sufficient. The amount and flow of water directs and determines every physical function. Precisely this “crisis” balancing ensures that a sufficient amount of water and nutrients first reaches the most important organs. The saving system is rigorous, so that no part gets more than its predetermined share. This applies to all organs. According to this principle, brains have a full advantage over all other organs. The brain has about 1/50 of body weight and gets as much as 20% of blood. The mechanism for saving receives signals that show what the body suffers most from the lack of water.
Dr. F. Batmanghelidj warns us of another catastrophic and erroneous belief that tea, coffee, juices, alcohol and other “artificial” drinks can replace pure, natural water. These beverages, however, really contain water, but besides it also contain dehydration substances that remove water from the body in which they are dissolved, plus some water from body stocks. Despite the fact that we drink , we can not meet the physical needs of the water in this way. The body triggers various mechanisms for saving water through various complex signals. And what does official medicine do? These mechanisms, in their “ignorance”, are interpreted as signs of disease states of unknown origin. And what would be right? When such signals (symptoms of disease) occur, sufficient clean drinking water should be provided to the body in order to adequately spread the internal system for saving it. But no, the doctors were “trained” to silence these signals by chemical means.
Dr. F. Batmanghelidj emphasizes the following: symptoms of chronic cell dehydration can be simply “greeted” at the beginning by drinking enough water. However, if the problem is inadequately treated with chemistry (with medicines, usually antihistamines), which also happens, it leads to pathological changes and diseases. And what happens after the disease? They repeat the mistake, and new and new medicines are prescribed, in order to cope with the growing problems and new symptoms caused by themselves with inadequate “treatment”, until the patient finally dies. What a fatal mistake. Silencing the various signals that really “cripple” the body’s water deficiency with medicines is an error that is directly fatal to the patient’s cells.
Without being aware of ourselves, we are in the state of cell dehydration, which eventually leads to the extinguishing of some important functions in the body. Dr. F. Batmanghelidj gave us one of the most important mesages: “You’re not sick, you’re thirsty”.
ATP ENERGY: Another water-related aspect of the most importance is ATP energy … the water mediated reaction known as hydrolysis: The major energy currency molecule of the cell, ATP (adenosine triphosphate), is a complex molecule and is critical for all life from the simplest to the most complex. ATP (Adenosine triphosphate) is the “most widely distributed high-energy compound within the human body”. This ubiquitous molecule is “used to build complex molecules, contract muscles, generate electricity in nerves, and light fireflies. All fuel sources of Nature, all foodstuffs of living things, produce ATP, which in turn powers virtually every activity of the cell and organism.
The enormous amount of activity that occurs inside each of the approximately one hundred trillion human cells is shown by the fact that at any instant each cell contains about one billion ATP molecules. This amount is sufficient for that cell’s needs for only a few minutes and must be rapidly recycled. Given a hundred trillion cells in the average human, about 1023 or one sextillion ATP molecules normally exist in the body. For each ATP “the terminal phosphate is added and removed 3 times each minute”. A fantastic “secret” of life.
The total human body content of ATP is only about 50 grams, which must be constantly recycled every day. The ultimate sources of energy for constructing ATP are food and water; ATP is simply the carrier and regulation-storage unit of energy. The average daily intake of 2,500 food calories translates into a turnover of a whopping 180 kg (400 lbs) of ATP.
When an ATP molecule is combined with water the last of three phosphate groups splits apart and produces energy. Energy is usually liberated from the ATP molecule to do work in the cell by a reaction that removes one of the phosphate-oxygen groups, leaving adenosine diphosphate (ADP). When the ATP converts to ADP, the ATP is said to be spent. Then the ADP is usually immediately recycled in the mitochondria where it is recharged and comes out again as ATP. Hooking and unhooking that last phosphate [on ATP] is what keeps the whole world operating!!!
The self-regulation system of ATP has been described as follows:
ATP is an unstable molecule in unbuffered water, in which it hydrolyses to ADP and phosphate. This is because the strength of the bonds between the phosphate groups in ATP is less than the strength of the hydrogen bonds (hydration bonds), between its products (ADP and phosphate), and water. Thus, if ATP and ADP are in chemical equilibrium in water, almost all of the ATP will eventually be converted to ADP. A system that is far from equilibrium contains Gibbs free energy, and is capable of functioning. Living cells maintain the ratio of ATP to ADP at a magnitude of 10 from equilibrium, with ATP concentrations fivefold higher than the concentration of ADP. This displacement from equilibrium means that the hydrolysis of ATP in the cell releases a large amount of free energy. During the enzyme-catalyzed hydrolysis of ATP or phosphorylation by ATP, the available free energy can be harnessed by a living system to function.
As mentioned, the high-energy bonds of ATP are actually rather unstable bonds. Because they are unstable, the energy of ATP is readily released when it is hydrolyzed in cellular reactions. Note that ATP is an energy-coupling agent and not a fuel. It is not a storehouse of energy set aside for a future need. Rather, the ATP is produced by one set of reactions and is almost immediately consumed by another. ATP is formed as it is needed, primarily by oxidative processes in the mitochondria. Oxygen is not consumed unless ADP and a phosphate molecule are available, and these do not become available until ATP is hydrolyzed by some energy-consuming process. The energy metabolism is therefore mostly self-regulating.
The ATP is used for many cell functions, including transportation ofmoving substances across cell membranes. It is also used for mechanical work, supplying the energy needed for muscle contraction. It supplies energy not only to the heart muscle (for blood circulation) and skeletal muscle (such as for gross body movement), but also to the chromosomes and flagella to enable them to carry out their many functions. A major role of ATP is in chemical work, supplying the energy needed to synthesize the multi-thousands of types of macromolecules that the cell needs to exist.
The ATP is also used as an on-off switch both to control chemical reactions and to send messages. The shape of the protein chains that produce the building blocks and other structures used in life is mostly determined by weak chemical bonds that are easily broken and remade. These chains can shorten, lengthen, and change shape in response to the input or withdrawal of energy. The changes in the chains alter the shape of the protein and can also alter its function or cause it to become either active or inactive.
Adenosine triphosphate, or ATP, is the primary carrier of energy in cells. The water-mediated reaction known as hydrolysis releases energy from the chemical bonds in ATP to fuel cellular processes (Encyclopedia Britannica). As mentioned, theATP has the central role in the cell energy metabolism. Cells require chemical energy for three general types of tasks: to drive the metabolic reactions that would not occur automatically; to transport substances needed across membranes; and to do mechanical work, such as moving muscles. The ATP is not a storage molecule for chemical energy; that is the job of carbohydrates, such as glycogen, and fats. When energy is needed by the cells, it is converted from storage molecules into ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP then serves as a shuttle, delivering energy to places within the cell where energy-consuming activities are taking place.
Proper ATP production will have an effect on every aspect of all of the body`s processes. ATP is a nucleotide that consists of three main structures: 1) the nitrogenous base (adenine); 2) the sugar (ribose); 3) and a chain of three phosphate groups bound to ribose. The phosphate tail of ATP is the actual power source, into which the cell taps. The energy available is contained in the bonds between the phosphates and is released when they are broken, which occurs through the addition of water molecule through process called hydrolysis. The body uses ATP to energize other cells, transport small molecular material, or create entirely new molecules. Most of the body`s processes fall into one of those categories on a cellular level. All these processes include the presence of water (aqueous molecules).
Water itself does not have calories, but without sufficient water, the hydrolysis and processes of transforming ATP into energy can not be carried out efficiently… without water there is no energy. If you are cellularly dehydrated, you do not have enough vital energy, you are tired and sooner or later the result is a disease.
Japanese Water Therapy – ritual of drinking water
Early Hour – Golden Hour. In the morning, even before starting work, we can really do a lot for our health and well-being. One of the most important morning routines is the morning ritual of drinking water, called “Japanese water therapy”. Many Japanese, as soon as they get up, first drink four glasses of clean drinking water (6-7 dcl) on an empty stomach. Such a way of drinking water has many healing effects. Morning drinking of the water helps to clean up all the waste materials and toxins that were created during sleep.
After this extensive drinking water, at the latest within 30-45 minutes, the secretion of urine and its toxins is therefore also more extensive. In this way, immediately in the morning, we provide freshness and adequate water for an active day. Water is a necessary element for every cell in our body. All biochemical, physiological and electromagnetic processes in our body are inextricably linked to water. As you know, our bodies consist of 60-70% of water. When the amount of water in our body is reduced by only a few percent, immediate health problems arise because our organs can not function normally without sufficient water.
Who is the Japanese water therapy for? Japanese water therapy is suitable for all people of all ages. The only cause for consideration may be a serious kidney disease. In complicated and difficult health condition cases, it is a good idea to consult your personal doctor before starting the Japanese water therapy.
For the correct implementation of Japanese water therapy, the following steps must be followed:
- As soon as you wake up, drink at least four glasses (4 x 160ml, 6-7 dcl or 22 ounces) of lukewarm water (body temperature). Drink water quickly before you do anything else before brushing your teeth.
- When you are done with water, you can clean your teeth, but do not eat or drink for 45 minutes. In the meantime, you will have to go to the toilet, since a larger amount of water will require its “toll”.
- After 45 minutes, you can eat and drink as usual.
- Try waiting before eating or drinking for at least 2 hours after each meal or snack.
- You drink more water at a time only in the morning. In the afternoon you drink only in sips. It is recommended to drink at least as much water per day as corresponds to 3% of your body weight.
- If you are sick or elderly or you can not get used to this morning water intake, you can begin this process gradually, so that every morning you increase the amount of water you drink a little bit until you reach the required minimum (at least 6-7 dcl).
It is advisable to continue with this therapy until the procedure gets into your habit and becomes a routine. Drink warm (hot) water. Why? Water and fat do not mix. And it is especially bad for our health, if the water is cold, because it thickens fat in the stomach and the gastrointestinal tract.
Terms of use. Never exaggerate with water therapy. Excessive drinking can lead to even “deadly poisoning with water”. What can be considered excessively excessive drinking water, which can even be dangerous? The amount of water that the body needs depends on various factors: from physical effort, age, fitness, body weight, weather conditions, climatic conditions, etc. Here too, the golden rule applies – everything within the right balance.
6 WATER WONDERS (in fact there are thousands of them)
Did you know that human body needs 40-60 liters of water for normal functioning, depending on the size of the body. So if you drink 2 liters of water per day, it will take 20-30 days to replace old water with fresh water throughout the body. Therefore, it is necessary for the blood flow to work properly, and the digestion must be free off all harmful substances. How to achieve this?
It is wrong to drink a liter of water in the evening, because this will disturb the calm sleep. Do it in the morning; drink water (6-8 dcl) immediately in the morning when you wake up, then also drink enough water throughout the day to keep the hydration process smooth in the body. Only in that case you can count on the miraculous power of water.
Water relieves headaches. If the level of water in the body drops too much, headaches already appear and muscle strength decreases immediately. Therefore, athletes must always replace the lossof water during running or cycling, etc. Headaches can also occur due to the loss of too many minerals (including magnesium) through perspiration, and in such cases, a glass of mineral water is the best solution.
Water helps detoxify the body and strengthens the kidneys. 90 percent of toxic substances are excreted through the kidneys, which means that with more water these processes can be accelerated and the formation of inflammation and even kidney stones is prevented. Toxins that are dissolvable in water can quickly cause other problems in “standing” water.
Lack of water in the body raises blood pressure, which adds burden to the heart and blood vessels. We recommend that you drink a glass of water 20 minutes before each measurement of blood-pressure. This will eliminate the effect of dehydration on the pressure level. “You’re not sick, you’re thirsty.”
Proper nutrition: Did you know that you should not drink water during the meal, because it dilutes the stomach acid, and the stomach therefore produces more than is necessary? If you need to drink during eating, drink a glass of wine, because it also has a lot of vitamins and more antioxidants, and it also works anti-inflammatory and stimulates processes in the body. But this should be your only glass of alcohol this day. Do not address thirst with alcohol.
Water prevents allergies. Due to the stagnation or lack of water in the body, allergies can break out. The absence of water in the body also has a worsening effect on the immune system as well as blood circulation … In addition to drinking enough water, make sure you move energetically. This will speed up the circulation of water in your body.
Water is important in weight loss. If you squeeze half a lemon juice in 3 dcl of water, your digestion will become more active, the body will consume more calories than you would otherwise. Lemon juice is extremely alkaline and reduces appetite. If you add a teaspoon of honey to the lemonade, you will get a very good slimming drink. For the processing of grams of honey, the body consume 15 times more calories than normal foods.
How much water do you need daily? Recommended is at least 3% of body weight per day.
